Mindfulness for Workplace Wellbeing

2 hour online workshop

Feeling stressed or anxious? Are you often lost in thought or stuck on autopilot? Take this workshop to learn how mindfulness can boost wellbeing, reduces stress, increase emotional intelligence, and foster empathy. Together we will explore the benefits of a regular mindfulness through a number of different meditation techniques and daily applications.

 

The aim of this workshop is to gain an understanding of stress, the impact of stress and mindfulness techniques to manage and overcome stress so that you feel more empowered to handle the challenges in life especially during this pandemic.

What you will learn:

 

  • What is Mindfulness?

  • Learn about the most recent evidence -based research behind Mindfulness and why it can reduce stress, anxiety and depression

  • Discover the body’s reaction to stress and explore the causes and signs of stress

  • Investigate the connection between anxious thoughts, feelings, body sensations and actions

  • Learn mindfulness practices

 

Cost -£200 for a group size of minimum 10 to maximum 20 participants. 

These workshops have been designed to be taught online for up to 20 participants in an interactive way. 

Mindfulness for Self-Compassion

2 hour online workshop

This Mindfulness Workshop is about exploring the “heart of Mindfulness practice’ through four attitudes of mindfulness which are fundamental to mindfulness training, these are: Befriending, Compassion, Joy and Equanimity. The workshop is a blend of theory and experiencing mindfulness practices to help and support participants through these very difficult times of uncertainty and stress in relation to Covid-19. 


Participants will be guided through meditation practices that will cultivate a mindfulness practice that embodies kindness and gratitude to self and others where we learn to respond more skillfully to our emotions rather than reacting impulsively with kindness, compassion and self – care.

What you will learn:

 

  • Why we practice Mindfulness for Kindness and compassion

  • Learn the most recent evidence - based research on the changes to the brain when we meditate and practice gratitude

  • Explore working with others to utilise mindfulness communication skills

  • Learn new mindfulness meditations to reduce fear and reduce anxiety and cultivate kindness and gratitude

Mindfulness for Everyday Life

6 week course

This course  is aimed at busy professional people who want to learn Mindfulness in a short 6 week course for 1 hour per week. The programme is based on the best-selling book, Mindfulness: Finding Peace in Frantic World. It is a highly accessible, engaging and practical introduction to mindfulness. The course teaches mindfulness skills and how to use these skills to improve wellbeing and resilience to stress. It has been found to be effective with adults in workplaces and community settings.
